Privacy Policy

We collect account and profile details, school and class enrollment records, lesson progress and answers, learning plans, Tutor questions and feedback, playbook rules, simulated wallet and portfolio activity, notification preferences and device tokens, consent records, privacy requests, and security, support, and authorized-access logs.

Subscription and payment processing happens on the website. Payment providers process payment details; IBKR School stores the billing references and subscription status needed to provide access and meet accounting or legal obligations.

Data is used to run the education product, preserve progress across sessions, support school deployments, manage subscriptions, protect the service, and satisfy privacy or legal requests.

Optional product analytics and crash diagnostics are disabled in the Apple app unless the learner has opted in. We do not use learner data for cross-app or cross-site advertising tracking.

We use service providers for hosting and authentication, website billing, app delivery and notifications, security diagnostics, and—where Tutor is enabled—AI processing. Providers may process only the information needed to deliver the contracted service and are subject to applicable safeguards and retention terms.

Tutor can send a learner's question and authorized learning or simulated-portfolio context to the configured AI provider. Tutor must remain unavailable until the required disclosure and permission are presented and accepted. AI responses can be inaccurate and are educational, not financial advice.

School and learner data receives additional safeguards. Teacher and school access is limited to authorized active memberships; support and administrator access is role-scoped and logged where required. School-managed accounts may also be subject to the school's instructions and agreement with IBKR School.

We do not sell learner personal data. We may disclose information when directed by the account holder or school, to protect a learner or the service, to comply with law, or to complete an approved privacy request.

We retain data only while it is needed to provide the service, meet school or contractual instructions, resolve security or support matters, and satisfy legal, accounting, safeguarding, or audit obligations. Retention periods differ by record type, and required legal or safeguarding records may outlast an ordinary account deletion.

We use access controls, encrypted transport, scoped service credentials, audit records, and operational monitoring. No system can guarantee absolute security; contact us promptly if you believe an account or learner record is at risk.

The Apple app provides controls to request data export, deletion, correction, or restriction and to review request status. You may also contact team@ibkrschool.com. We may verify identity or school authority before acting.

Deletion removes or de-identifies ordinary account data after access is disabled and active sessions are revoked, subject to legal, safeguarding, billing, dispute, security, and audit retention duties. Removing the app from a device does not delete the account.

We will update the effective date and version when this policy changes materially. Where required, we will provide a new notice or request renewed consent before applying a change.
