Version 0.1 · Effective June 18, 2026

Privacy Policy

IBKR School is being built with privacy controls as product functionality, not just policy text.

This page is implementation scaffolding for product readiness and should be reviewed before production launch.

Data We Expect To Collect

The planned app data includes account profile details, school enrollment records, lesson progress, XP, playbook rules, simulated portfolio activity, consent records, billing references, and support or admin access logs.

Lesson content remains static TypeScript content during the current phase. Student progress stores stable lesson IDs, not lesson text.

Why We Use Data

Data is used to run the education product, preserve progress across sessions, support school deployments, manage subscriptions, protect the service, and satisfy privacy or legal requests.

We do not plan to enable non-essential analytics or tracking until cookie consent and policy versioning are in place.

Student Data

School and student data is treated as higher sensitivity data. Teacher, support, and admin access must be scoped by role or membership and logged with a reason where practical.

Your Rights

The production product should support account deletion, data export, correction, restriction, and clear contact paths for privacy requests.

Billing records handled by Stripe may have separate legal retention requirements and should not be treated as deleted only because local app access is removed.
